Founded in 1976 by Horatio Yrueta, father and grandfather to current owners Carlos and Mike Yrueta, Basco Drywall and Painting was built on the principles of hard work, customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. Over the past 45 years, Basco has become one of the most in-demand Drywall and Painting contractors in the Bay Area. We take pride in, and are known for, our timeline and budget management skills, both attributed to running an efficient job-site crew. Our expertise has grown from single-family home production, to apartments and condos, to a wide range of commercial centers. Each project type lending itself to a different set of job-site management skills, all of which we have honed over our years in business.

Basco Drywall & Painting is signatory to both the Drywall Installer/Lather union and Painter and Taper union. With our Union affiliation, Basco is constantly adapting to the growing demand and ever-changing construction environment. In order to serve general contractors better, our office team is equipped to handle a variety of specialized projects, including (but not limited to) certified payroll, prevailing wage and LCP and Elations System tracking requirements.

Our construction services include: painting, drywall installation and finishing, and non-structural metal framing.
